Saporiti Italia organizes the “ART COLORS DESIGN / Salvati & Tresoldi x Saporiti Italia” exhibition, from October 7 to 22 , at Adi Design Museum in Milan.
The exhibition traces Saporiti Italia’s historic collaboration with Studio Salvati & Tresoldi, highlighting the close relationship between art, architecture and design of which Salvati & Tresoldi’s work was a forerunner, particularly through the use of colour.
Recounted in the exhibition are drawings, publications, images and historical objects, born from this collaboration and produced by Saporiti Italia in the ‘80s and ‘90s.
These include the Omaggi and Diana chairs, the Geometric and Lissitksy tables, the Miamina chair – selected in 1984 for the Compasso d’oro Award.
The Miamina chair is the protagonist of the “ART COLORS DESIGN” exhibition, through the presentation of a limited edition of 20 unique pieces dedicated to the ‘Saporiti Cities’ with original cloths and embroideries created by art laboratory FoscaMilano.
The 20 Miamina, inspired by 20 different cities around the world where Saporiti Italia has executed important projects, will be sold at a charity auctioned by Cambi Auction House, with the proceeds destined to support the cultural and social activities of the Sergio Saporiti Foundation.
