The Gong Fu Cha tea ceremony table, designed by Massimiliano Fuksas and Doriana Fuksas, reinterprets the ancient Chinese tea tradition through a contemporary design language.
It is a monolithic structure that combines elegant form with advanced functionality, integrating induction heating for water preparation and a central drainage system for managing water during the ceremony. A built-in LED screen adds a meditative dimension by displaying calming natural imagery.
The table also opens to reveal integrated seating and serving trolleys, which remain hidden when closed to preserve its clean sculptural appearance. Finished in high-gloss materials by Saporiti Italia and available in China Red or Imperial Blue, it reflects a balance between Italian design innovation and Chinese cultural tradition.
