Giornate FAI di Primavera / 22-23 Marzo 2025 – Saporiti Hub

Saporiti Italia has the pleasure to announce that FAI, the National Trust for Italy, has requested to Saporiti Italia to open the doors of its Italian headquarters to their guests and visitors, on the occasion of the FAI Spring Days 2025.

FAI / Fondo per l’Ambiente Italiano, is a non-profit foundation with the scope of protecting and enhancing Italy’s historical, artistic and landscape heritage.
During the Spring Days, FAI organizes visits to monuments and sites that are normally inaccessible to the public: palaces, villas, castles, private museums, but also examples of industrial archaeology and production sites testifying the uniqueness and the value of Italy’s historical and cultural heritage.

It is a great pleasure and honor for us to open to the FAI guests the doors of the historic Saporiti Italia headquarters, designed by Vittorio Introini in 1970 and then transformed into the ‘Saporiti Hub’ by Marti Guixé in 2005.
A guided tour inside our research laboratory and showroom will give them the opportunity to discover some of the projects and objects that made the history of Italian design in the world.

These include the Omaggi and Diana chairs, the Geometric and Lissitksy tables, the Miamina chair – selected in 1984 for the Compasso d’oro Award.

BA Gallery – Shanghai

Saporiti Italia created the architectural and interior design project for a new Art Space in Shanghai.
The BA Gallery building is located just minutes from the impressive towers of Pu Dong (Shanghai Tower, World Financial Center, Jin Mao Tower), in very quiet and pleasant area along the Pu River, just in front the historic Bund district.
This is an area that will play a central role in the new development plan of Shanghai, which will include many other new facilities dedicated to art and creativity.
The building is divided in three areas: the Dark Gallery, the Bright Gallery, the Gardens.
The Dark Gallery is a quiet and intimate exhibition space.
A black box suitable for sounds and video art installations.
The Bright gallery is a large, white space.
Two skylights allow the light from the outside to flood the space.
It is the perfect venue for large art installation, public events and workshops.
The Gardens are the entrance to the galleries.
A bar and a seating area offer a fresh and relaxing space to the visitors of the museum.
The upper floors include a Club House, usable also a commercial space, and the museum directional offices.

Inside Art – Milano

Inside Art is research laboratory created by Saporiti Italia aimed to conceive design objects for art and architecture sites.
Artworks – paintings, sculptures, installations – need large architectural spaces to be exhibited, but they also need interior design objects to be admired.
This is why Saporiti Italia every year proposes world famous architects or international emerging designers to create new objects “to watch art” and “to be watched” inside the art and architectural spaces.
The designers involved into the Inside Art project in recent years are:
Dodo Arslan, Giulio Ceppi / Total Tool, Pierluigi Cerri, Alessandro Colombo, Marco Ferreri, Marti Guixé, Kuhen & Malvezzi, Setsu e Shinobu Ito, Joelchui, Mauro Lipparini, Eric Maria, Ministry of Design, Claudio Nardi, Gianfranco Pardi, Park Associati, Talenia Phua Gajardo & Camiel Weijenberg / Makemei, Alain Renk, Vacuumlab, Vudafieri Saverino Partners, Carlos Zapata.
Every designer created a very different project, but always very consistent with Saporiti Italia’s technical history and design philosophy, who always interacts very strongly with each designer, at every stage of the development of a product or a project.
The ensemble of these researches, all together, represents an interesting view on the world of architecture and product design, conceived not as different (or even opposed to each other) “themes”, but as an original “unique design process”.

Noberasco Headquarters – Carcare

Saporiti Italia designed and furnished the directional offices of the new Noberasco Headquarters.
Noberasco is the Italian leader in the dry and dried fruit industry, with over a century of expertise in this field.
Saporiti Italia decorated the directional areas of Noberasco’s new factory, including the products showroom, the private restaurant and the spectacular cantilever board-room at second floor.
The board-room table has been designed by Saporiti Italia to recall the leaves of the date-palm tree, a fruit at the origins of Noberasco’s history, with sophisticated inlays of dark and light oak veneers.
The showroom display walls are made with two typical materials from the coastal region of Liguria: olive tree wood and ardesia, the local volcanic slate rock.
