The Mobile House \/ P 110<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In May 1972, the Museum of Modern Art in New York organized an exhibition on Italian design, curated by Argentine architect Emilio Ambasz.
The exhibition\u2019s goal was not only to showcase innovative Italian design but also to use it as a concrete reference for issues relevant to designers worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Italy, The New Domestic Landscape<\/em> became a launchpad for Italian design in the home furniture industry, significantly contributing to the international success of Italian furniture design in the years to come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to featuring the Jumbo armchair, Emilio Ambasz also asked Alberto Rosselli and Saporiti Italia to design and create a study for an innovative modular and mobile housing system for a new social dimension. This led to the creation of the Mobile House<\/em>, designed by Alberto Rosselli and built by Saporiti Italia in collaboration with Orlandi car bodywork. It included a new stackable fiberglass chair, the P 110, designed by Rosselli for Saporiti Italia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
