The world of art has always played an important role for Saporiti Italia, both in terms of potential references and inspirations for design, as well as in terms of communication.
Communicating design by associating it with art or art spaces automatically adds value to the design itself.
For Saporiti Italia, promoting its design activities by supporting places of culture and art gives even greater meaning to the company’s work.
For this reason, in 2006, Saporiti Italia launched the “Saporiti Italia – Inside Art” project. It was a research lab with some of the most famous architects in the world, aimed at studying and proposing objects “to observe art” and “to be observed” in spaces dedicated to art.
In recent years, museums have become increasingly vibrant and interesting spaces, sometimes new hubs for cities, with architecture and spaces that are more and more important, open to the public, offering activities, cafés, bookstores, gardens, and more.
Works of art – paintings, sculptures, installations – don’t just need large architectural spaces to be exhibited, but also design objects to be enjoyed and admired.
The Inside Art project includes a series of furniture objects functional for displaying artworks, such as benches, tables, display cases, and more, as well as installations within museums and art spaces. The Inside Art projects have been presented in prominent venues such as the MA*GA Museum, the Museo del 900, the Arnaldo Pomodoro Foundation, the Venice Biennale, Shanghai Art, and many others.
