With great respect for the Alberto Rosselli’s thought in the creation of the Jumbo chair and the period in which this object was born, I was inspired by the new trends that emerged in those years, definitively overcoming the post-war period and shaping the socio-cultural revolution of the 60s and 70s.
The colours proposed for these 10 Jumbo chairs are therefore the colours of the exuberance that warmed the spirits of those years, from visual arts to music, from architecture to communication, culminating in the fantastic adventure of fashion, the paradigm of a new life. through prêt-à-porter that, in those years, inspired interior architecture too.
Mauro Lipparini graduated in Architecture from the Università Degli Studi of Florence, where he was also a professor.
He received several awards and honours, including the International Du Pont Award in Cologne, the prestigious Elle Decoration China Interior Design Annual Award, and the AD 100 Award, which confirmed Lipparini’s presence among the “100 Most Influential Architects and Designers” in China and the First Prize at the Good Design Global Awards 2011, the most important international design prize.
In the field of architecture and interior design, Mauro Lipparini has mainly focused on residential and commercial construction, designing corporate headquarters, showrooms, shops, restaurants, and exhibition installations.
Lipparini’s vast production in the field of industrial design includes home and office furniture creations for the textile industry and other products designed for numerous companies in Europe and Asia.
Mauro Lipparini created some of the most successful collections in the history of Saporiti Italia, including the Avedon, Ellypse, Sirio series, the Jazz and Flap armchairs, as well as some important interior design projects, including the interiors of the Volante Tower in Dubai and of The Marq Tower in Singapore.
